Assalamualaikum and greetings, earthling :)

Seperti yang telah dijanjikan, entri ke negara oppa >o<

First and foremost, I apologized for the super horrible delay. Sampai setahun. haha lol. Sorry again. Dah start tulis sikit sikit tapi tak penah siap. Asik save as draft je. lols. Busy sangat iolls.

Sneak Peek

Sebenarnya at first place takdelah memang merancang nk pegi Korea pun. This all happened out of the blue. Idea ke korea tercetus secara spontan bila tgh berbual bual and I just randomly said "Hmm, kalau dapat g korea pun best jugak ni". Suddenly, my friends who overheard me got all excited and be like "Jom ah pegi korea". And boom we suddenly recruited another two person to join the trip. As easy as that! Haha.

Mula mula nawaitu gadis berempat ni nak pergi korea as backpackers. Jalan sendiri, baca map, naik public transport. Kira semua sendiri lah. Acah independent gitu. Tapi bila discuss balik dan memikirkan yg none of us know to at least speak a decent hangul (korean language), terus sebulat suara sehati sejiwa nak cari agen. Actually, there are a lot of preferences regarding a trip like this. Some prefer to travel on their own(read as: backpackers) and not feeling restricted to some kind of time limitation or etc. But some just love to have other people just sort out everything and have it ready for them.

For us, we kind of stuck in the middle. Teringin nak acah backpackers tapi lets be realistic here guys; 1. Neither of us speak korean which is a major problem since majority of the korean dont even understand a simple english as simple as 'yes' and 'no'. Mmg bole google or use traslator or body language but here comes the second problem. 2. All of us are girls. All-girls. And ofc being such a wonderful and obedient daughters, we do seek permission from our parents. The response that we got was a big fat NO. Ofc la kan, mana parents je tak risau anak dara diorg nak pergi travel pegi negara non muslim and plus its a non-friendly muslim country plak tu. Mesti la diorg risau. They eventually allowed us to go under one condition: Get a travel agent. Dan sebab tulah we went to korea with an agent.

The agent that we trust and hired was Muslim Travel Bug. Kitorang pilih pakej untuk 4org je. So takdelah macam rombongan Cik Kiah sangat. lol. The price per pax I already forgotten but it was reasonable la since it includes our accomodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, entrance fee to theme park, and duit transportation as well (T-money) So sampai sana takdelah nak kalut fikir fikir mana nak topup T-money, beli tiket apa semua tu. Just enjoy :) So we spent a whole week there.

The summary of the trip is as below:

Flight details: MAS
Bukan nak ajet kaya naik MAS tapi time ni ade promotion. Right after kitorang teruja teruja nak pergi korea then straight away check harga tiket. First survey AirAsia which at that time around 1300+ pastu cam tergerak nk cek MAS and it was 1400+. Mmg lagi mahal tapi lepas consider everything(makanan, baggage, comfort-as it was 6+ hrs journey) we decided to just go on with MAS. Lagipun just lari sikit. So takdelah rugi mana.

Accomodation: ShinChon Hostel
Eventhough it was just a hostel, it was super comfortable. Bhgn basement ada pantry utk masak masak. For muslims, fret not as the host provided utensils for muslims. Jadi, kita masak2 tu takdelah bercampur dengan non muslim punya bacon and etc. tu. Ade water cooler, tempat makan and lepak yg cool and ala ala hipster. There was even a 88-key portable grand piano keyboard! Sempat jugaklah main Canon in D and River Flows In You :P So for breakfast mmg kitorg masak je sendiri. Buat toast ke, scrambled egg ke or pape jelah. Bahan mentah mcm telur, ramen semua tu mmmg dia provided cuma kitorg amik telur je sbb status ramen and yg lain lain tu diragui. huhu. As for bilik pun mmg sangat selesa. Nak cuci baju pun boleh sbb mmg ade washing machine dan ampai baju yg disediakan.

Wifi: Portable wifi thing-y
I dunno what exactly it is (noooob). Tapi kitorg just sewa dari hostel tempat kitorg tinggal tu. 40000won deposit + 4000 won rent per day. Memandangkan kitorang berempat kira just nice la. So sorang 11000 won. Tapi deposit tu dapat balik bila pulang benda tu semula. For me, Its really cheap cuz it is an unlimited internet and it for the whole day. Terpulanglah nak sewa berapa lama pun. For exmple klu 5 hari it will be 40k won + (4k x 5days). Faham kan. Speed jangan cakaplah. Memang laju yang amattt. Suits their super advanced technology all over the country.

Transportation: subway, korean train express(KTX), cab, bus
Memndangkan korea ni maju, so everything is systematic. Pergerakan kitorang dari satu tempat ke tempat lain basically naik public transport je. There's this thing call T-money card over here. Bas, cab, train (except ktx) semua bayar pakai T-money ni. Kira mcm Touch'N'Go la tp pakai utk semua public transport. So convenient right? KTX kena beli tiket asing. For your information, KTX ni train yang dalam Train To Busan tu. Yg mewah n canggih tu. Aku pun jakun je masuk train tu. Siap ade ahjumma tolak troli jual makanan. Fefeeling Harry Potter plak >.< and ofc as a jakun person haruslah beli dari troli tu. Ceh padahal kalau bangun dr seat, jalan depan sikit keluar dr coach tu ade je vending machine yg jual the exact same banana milk tu. kahkah dasar pemalas.

Solat?
As a muslim kita wajib menunaikan solat betul tak? Kau jangan nak gedik jadikan alasan musafir untuk ngelat solat. Piat kang telinga tu. Soal solat, akan ditunaikan kat mana kitorg berada that time. Janganlah kau expect masjid bersepah macam kat Malaysia. Kalau kat Itaewon lainlah sebab mmg ada Seoul Central Mosque. Mcm kat Nami Island pun alhamdulillah ade surau dekat satu library ni. Kat Everland Theme Park pun ade satu surau. Cantik and comel. Tapi yang perempuan jangan nak seronok2 flip hair dalam tu sebab surau tu utk both lelaki and perempuan. Kau jangan baling selipar pulak kalau nampak laki masuk. Other than that memang solat jelah mana mana. Even ada yang dalam fitting room dekat mall kat Myeongdong. Tawakkal jela. Doa byk2 orang tak ketuk pintu time solat. huhu. Oh we are lucky enough to enter the  Korea University College of Engineering and solat kat salah satu bilik aktiviti pelajar kat situ. Tak silap bilik aktiviti untuk pelajar muslim kot or smthg like that la.

Okay that's it for now. Sebab da makin panjang. And plus aku da start ngantuk. The rest of itinerary I will continue in the next entry.

Till the next entry y'all :)
